Buying and selling at an auction is already recycling, people reusing, re-loving items that others no longer want or need, so we are already contributing to a greener way of living.
However, we wanted to take this a step further and avoid any unwanted items going into landfill. So we have struck up a relationship with Bradford Council and their many departments to donate unwanted furniture and household items to those in need in our community. Working together we often deliver unsold furniture to those recently rehomed. We also create boxes of household items for distribution across the Bradford area.
This ticks both boxes for us, supporting our community and operating in a greener way!
In addition, we have an annual chosen charity which we raise funds for by selling items at auction, having raffles, bun sales etc. to raise money over the year. The chosen Charity for 2023 is BRADFORD NIGHTSTOP, a brilliant charity who work tirelessly to house those aged 16-25 who have found themselves homeless. In addition we also support the following charities who provide help to those in the Bradford Community who need it.
